Single wire multi-switch technology

A Single Wire Multiswitch, or ‘SWiM’, is a Multiswitch combined with One Liner Technology. This technology allows the connection of multiple users (up to 32) via a single cable to a satellite antenna dish, receiving multiple satellites on different positions.

Via a software protocol, the SWiM unit knows which channel is being requested by which receiver and puts the right program on the right frequency for the corresponding receiver. This technology has been developed by Unitron, exclusively for the US market.
