UnitronGroup develops and manufactures products for the residential TV market, often called the Single Family Unit (SFU) market. Typical products for this sector include terrestrial amplifiers, DiSEqCTM switches and combiners. These products are mainly sold through our worldwide network of distributors.

Johansson is active in the residential market for over 50 years, and today, still offers a wide range of products and accessories for this market. For residential applications, we try to differentiate our products by their high quality!
Nowadays, the quality and specifications of these products are more important than ever, because the frequency spectrum is being shared by more and more applications. The digital dividend can cause serious problems in some areas.

Collective TV-reception

The MDU (Multi Dwelling Unit) market is targeting larger buildings, such as apartment blocks, hotels, hospitals and office buildings. This sector requires TV distribution systems which allow large numbers of end-users, via TV’s, PC’s, PVR’s and home media centers, to access the same TV signal.

Only one set of satellite dishes and/or TV antennas is used to deliver TV signals to multiple (up to hundreds of) users. In more traditional MATV or SMATV systems, our ‘Profiler’ and ‘Equalizer’ active antenna filters are used in combination with passive distribution splitters and cables.

In modern, often interactive, multi-media networks, our digital headends are popular because of their high performance and compact size.
