| 1960 | Willy Vansevenant started in the center of Poperinge a company named "Vansevenant Electronics". The main activity of this company was the distribution of television sets. |
| 1962 | Vansevenant Electronics started with the production of television-antennae accessories. In the same year the company launched their own brandname "Johansson" on the Belgian market. |
| 1970 | Vansevenant Electronics started the export to France of the "Johansson" accessories. |
| 1989 | Willy Lamaire took over Vansevenant Electronics and founded Unitron with a new headquarter in the industrial area of Poperinge. Unitron started worldwide export of the "Johansson" accessories. |
| 1994 | UnitronGroup expanded its capacity by founding Deltronic, a production plant in Czech Republic. |
| 1997 | Unitron Belgium got ISO 9001 accredited. |
| 2000 | UnitronGroup expanded its capacity by founding Vesla, a research and development company in Czech Republic. |
| 2001 | Deltronic got ISO 9001 accredited. |
| 2003 | Unitron Belgium got ISO 9001 "Version 2000" accredited. |
| 2004 | UnitronGroup founded Unitron Asia Pacific and started-up a new production plant in mainland China. |
